Once the Rocky Broad River Falls property is open to the public, be sure and plan your visit. Trail hiking difficulty ranges from easy to moderate. It is not an easy trek in so be prepared once there.
Be sure and bring along a trash bag, if not for your trash then for others who are not as considerate; often garbage floats down from upstream.
Bring sun screen for you and the little ones and something to drink. What you bring to drink is up to you… as long as it is not in a glass container.
There are no facilities in the gorge so bring TP and a garden shovel. When nature calls try and get at least 100 ft from the waters edge. Your pets are welcomed as long as they are not aggressive to people or other animals. When your pet does their business, please clear it off the trails.
There is a cornucopia of exploring to do along the falls: gigantic boulders, rapids and rock shelter. With adequate funding there will be miles of hiking trails added and maintained.
